Lindsay Court TV distribution system
The Lindsay Court TV distribution system is equipped to provide Freeview, FreeSat and Sky signals plus DAB and FM radio signals. A Sky Q partial install has been completed so that on receipt of a subscription request Sky will provide the quadruplexer as part of the install.
Virgin Media has a cable into Lindsay Court. In order to reduce the amount of cable installation and general inconvenience required to get the service into apartments, the RMC has taken the view that we should allow Virgin Media to use our cable infrastructure. This requires one or more cables to be disconnected from the Sky distribution and reconnected to Virgin Media in the distribution cabinet. Conversely, there are occasions when a Virgin Media service has to be restored to Sky distribution, when the reverse procedure will be carried out.
We have found that having the Sky/Virgin installers do this change sometimes causes problems in other areas so the RMC recommends that this work be carried out by someone who is familiar with the arrangements in the distribution cabinet. If you are expecting a visit from Sky or Virgin Media fill out a fault report or put a note on the WhatsApp. We may well be able to 'prepare the ground'.
