Intratone system replaces TVTel

The old TVTel access has been replaced with a new Intratone system. A Getting-Started guide for Users can be found here.


TV and radio signal distribution

Sky and FreeSat satellite signals, plus FreeView TV, DAB and FM radio are available on the house distribution.

Please advise us on the Fault Report form if you have problems with TV, Radio or Satellite reception.

The installation has been upgraded with a 'partial install' for Sky Q. This means that on receipt of a subscription request, Sky will provide the necessary quadruplexer to finish the installation. Any Sky subscription services you pay for are an arrangement between you and Sky.

Any former Virgin Cable user changing to Sky may find that an installer visit is required to replace their Virgin feed with Sky. This might incur a charge.

Advice on replacement remote units for the vehicle gate

We have identified a suitable replacement unit. It is the CAME TOP-432EE, See here. It is slightly more difficult to set up than older devices which used coded DIP switches. Instead it relies on being 'trained' or cloned from a similar device. So it will not work straight out of the box but once cloned, the buttons will be set up to open our gate.

If you feel that this sounds like too much trouble let us know and we can supply you with a 'trained' remote (which does work straight out of the box!)

Identification of Japanese Knotweed at Lindsay Court

Japanese Knotweed has been found growing at Lindsay Court, in the bed along the boundary wall with Clock House. It is the far side of the car park from any building and so does not present an immediate threat. However it is a notifiable condition on a TA6 enquiry at time of purchase/sale of property. There are specific requirements dictating methods of eradication and disposal which are included in legislation relating to 'Hazardous Disposal'. See the RHS document here.

Garden gate key profiles have been rationalised

The key profiles for the three front garden gates have been rationalised so that they are now all the same! Any key you thought you had for the garden will no longer work.

Vehicle access gate - manual over-ride

A revised procedure will be required to open the gate manually in the event of a failure. A laminated instruction card (issue 3) has been placed by the back door. This updated version includes reference to the power isolator in the bin store. Please return the instruction card after use so as to be available for others to use if necessary.
